Alright, Toss Boss fam—WrestleMania 42 is already living rent-free in my head, and it’s not even close. Two nights in Las Vegas: April 18 and 19, 2026.
Disclaimer up front: this card is not 100% locked in. We’re still 18 days away, and WWE can pivot whenever they feel like it—injuries, swerves, stip changes, surprise additions, all of it. These are way-too-early predictions based on what’s confirmed and what’s trending right now.
And yes—I’ll be dropping a post the day of WrestleMania with the 100% locked-in, fully confirmed card.
Now let’s cook.
John Cena is the Host of WrestleMania 42
Fresh off retiring from in-ring competition, John Cena announced he’ll be the host of WrestleMania 42, and WWE confirmed it. He’s done wrestling, but he’s not done being a WrestleMania-level presence—especially with that ambassador role. Hosting means spotlight, and spotlight means somebody’s getting checked in a segment.
Current Card + Toss Boss Picks (With Reasons)
World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns
Pick: Roman Reigns wins WWE didn’t bring Roman back to win the Rumble and headline Mania just to have him fall short again. This feels like the “Roman reclaims the throne” story, and Punk can take the L without losing his aura.
Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton
Pick: Cody Rhodes retains Orton is the perfect final-boss challenger, but Cody is still positioned as the company’s centerpiece. Cody surviving the Viper’s violence is exactly the kind of WrestleMania win WWE builds a year around.
Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
Pick: Oba Femi wins If you answer a Lesnar open challenge at WrestleMania, it’s because the company wants to make you. Brock doesn’t need the win—Oba needs the launch, and a signature moment over Brock is how you do it.
WWE Women’s Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
Pick: Rhea Ripley wins Rhea is the most reliable “big match” presence in the division, and Mania is where WWE crowns the most dominant force. Jade’s reign has been strong, but Rhea with the title instantly raises the division’s intensity.
Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan
Pick: Stephanie Vaquer retains Vaquer feels like a long-term investment and a “new era” champion. Liv is always a threat, but this looks like a match designed to validate Vaquer on the biggest stage.
United States Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams
Pick: Trick Williams wins Sami is the perfect guy to make someone, and Trick is ready for that “WrestleMania moment” jump. A title win here turns Trick from hype to headline.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship: AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch
Pick: Becky Lynch wins Becky isn’t treating this like a one-off—she’s treating it like a mission. WWE loves giving Becky a big Mania payoff, and AJ losing doesn’t hurt her; it fuels the rivalry.
Unsanctioned: Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre
Pick: Jacob Fatu wins Drew can lose a war and still look terrifying. Fatu, though, needs the signature WrestleMania win to cement him as a top-tier problem going forward.
Finn Bálor vs. Dominik Mysterio (Confirmed)
Pick: Finn Bálor wins This is the “you turned on the wrong guy” payoff. Dom will get heat no matter what, but Finn needs the win to re-establish himself after the Judgment Day fallout.
Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match (Confirmed)
Penta (c) vs. Rusev vs. Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh vs. Je’Von Evans Pick: Penta retains Ladder matches reward the guy who can create one opening and turn it into a highlight. That’s Penta’s whole brand. Plus, keeping the title on him lets WWE spin off fresh feuds with literally any of the four guys he escapes from.
Final Toss Boss Take
This card is getting deeper by the day, and that’s why I’m saying it again: we’re 18 days out—nothing is fully safe yet. But if WWE keeps stacking it like this, Vegas is about to get loud.
